Cipher Turn-In Finder

Type the clue words printed on your Cipher for the safest recipient match. Cipher names also work, but clue words take priority.

Try anvil, malt, covenant, guidance, or abyssal. Partial spellings work.

How Cipher turn-ins actually work

Fast rule

Read the clue words printed on the Cipher and match those words to an NPC. Named Cipher guides disagree more often than clue-word reports, especially between older Chinese tables and launch-week global discoveries.

What is established

  • Extract with the Cipher first. Event instructions and current guides require bringing the item back to Windrest Camp before it can be deciphered.
  • The decipher system uses seven camp recipients: Soekja, Dew, Pip, Dramm, Cazarro, Sigrid, and Merimo.
  • Current launch players consistently report that the matching NPC gives a one-time extra reward in addition to the normal decipher result.
  • Launch-week reports point to that extra reward being one-time per NPC, not once per Cipher type. Reported reward contents vary.
  • Giving earlier Ciphers to the wrong NPC does not appear to permanently lock that bonus. Current players report you can still earn an NPC's first-time bonus later by bringing that NPC a matching Cipher.

Level 5

Current event screenshots and player reports still place Cipher deciphering at character level 5. I did not find a launch patch note that separately documents this unlock, so the tool labels it as community-confirmed rather than developer-confirmed.

Why the clue words matter more than the name

There are real naming traps. For example, the clue word Ashes points to Dramm, while launch-era sources commonly place the named Ashen Cipher with Sigrid. Likewise, current player reports can place a named Cipher differently from older CN tables. If your physical item shows clue words, use those words first.

Gylden Rush jackpot vs. correct-NPC bonus

The published Gylden Rush rules list the normal Cipher prize pool and a separate bonus for delivering a Cipher to the specific recipient who understands it. Current launch reports support that recipient bonus being a one-time extra reward per NPC, with players reporting different reward contents including currency, purple items/materials, and at least one legendary item. I found no official evidence that choosing the correct NPC improves the rare jackpot odds themselves.

Still unresolved

  • Exact decipher reward percentages in the current launch event.
  • Whether every named Cipher has one fixed clue pair. Player reports suggest some name-level tables are unreliable.
  • Hoarding / Haggling is still disputed between Pip and Cazarro. The tool will flag it instead of guessing.
Data, sources and confidence

This database prioritizes current launch-week player confirmations, then cross-checks them against Chinese community references and the July 31 Chinese guide. Older CN data is preserved when it conflicts instead of silently overwritten.

Cross-checkedMultiple independent launch-era sources agree. This is not the same as an official developer-confirmed mapping.
Launch consensusMultiple current player confirmations, or one current report reinforced by the clue-word system.
Single reportOnly one current usable report was found. Always check the words on your own item.
ConflictCN and global sources, or current players, disagree. The tool will not pretend there is a settled type-level answer.

Important source note

The Chinese community map currently publishes several name-level pairings that conflict with newer global launch reports. The July 31 Chinese guide also differs from that older CN table on Ashen and Nameless. An Aug 7 community master list adds fresh clue-level confirmations, including Weaver / Echo → Dew. This is why the search result treats clue words as the highest-priority evidence.

Unsupported reward-rate tables, AI-generated recirculations, and name-only mappings with no usable current evidence are not presented as facts. They may be mentioned only as conflicts where that helps prevent a bad turn-in.
